A MacCurrach Golf Construction Internship is intended to provide related work experience for talented young employees and apply them to the construction of golf courses. The internship comes with the potential of offering a full-time career following their graduation. Our internships are competitive, full-time, & fully paid. Temporary positions through the typical spring, summer and fall months. Part-time opportunities may also be available throughout the year.
As a team member for the construction project team, responsibilities will include allocating project resources, operation of both heavy & small equipment, and efficiently executing architectural design & engineer plans while creating a positive safety climate. Labor work will also be required. Shoveling, raking, grading, leveling or other labor tasks on a greens construction crew, drainage crew, or sod crew will be required.
We welcome any majors as long as the applicant is an enthusiastic individual interested in construction, infostructure, and esthetics that go into building a golf course. While we welcome any majors, most of our employees majored in Turfgrass, Agriculture Majors, Construction Management, and Environmental Science.
Please visit our website to get a better understanding of our company and what we do. Note our course list. While we are based in Jacksonville, we do have projects in a variety of locations across the eastern United States.
